SRT file police complaints over derailment

The State Railway of Thailand (SRT) has submitted a police complaint regarding derailment in Nakhon Ratchasima on Thursday night.

Several sections of cargo train derailed as it connects the switch rail. No one was hurt.

"We suspect that someone may have messed with the change," said a senior official Faisal Chaibanmai SRT yesterday.

Non Sung said Police Station superintendent Colonel Pissanu Wattu the track where the event takes place is relatively new. "It's been in service for less than a year," he said.

It took more than 12 hours to remove the parts derailed, but normal service has resumed as of press time.
